Paris is one of those cities that you have to visit. It is enchanting because of the architectural set up and design. If you tour the whole city you can see symbols and styles that represent different rulers’ eras. Just the Louvre has a variety of them because it was built and added to throughout different times. In addition to this Paris is also filled with museums that have art and historical artefacts. The Louvre’s collection, for example, is so vast and astonishing that you can’t help, but go visit. The nightlife of Paris is another attraction. There are pub crawls, nightclubs, restaurants with fine cuisine and an ambiance that is inimitable. Another great experience and reason to visit the city is the Eiffel Tower and the Seine boat ride. They are both ways to see every inch of the city from a different angle. Anyone who has visited Paris will tell you that you won’t regret it.

Playa del Carmen comes next to Cancun for travelers to Mexican destinations. Some come here for their honeymoon, engagement, or just to relax and have fun. It is a mini-paradise as well as a fun filled destination. For those who are interested in what goes on during the late night hours get ready for a long list. Depending on where you are staying you will be able to walk or you will have to take a taxi to get to downtown Playa. If you want to dance, socialize, drink and party you want to go to eighth street. You will know you’re there when you see Coco Bongo. It’s the first club there and it has a big red neon sign you can not miss. It is also one of the top clubs to go to. Following, for techno lovers, is the club La Santanera. You’ll find this one just a bit farther down from Coco Bongo. The next most popular club is the Blue Parrot which has two music areas, one at the entrance and the next near the beach; they also have a fire show. The dance scene in Playa del Carmen will leave you more than satisfied.

Even though Madrid isn’t the name that comes to mind when we hear wine, wine lovers will be happy to know that there are plenty of “bodegas” in Madrid. You can find a selection of local wines and beers. If you look hard enough you may even find a wine tour to learn a bit more about Spanish wines, accompanied by a light local meal in the wine cellars of choice in the organized tour. As for our Madrid bodegas you should visit at least a couple, just to compare. The Bodegas Castejòn in south east Madrid has a collection of wines made from grapes of the Arganda del Rey area. Another bodega, the Jesus Diaz Winery, is family owned and in the Colmenar de Oreja area. Other wineries are a bit farther away, like the Prado Rey one. In this case you should think about renting a car or finding out if there are any buses that go to specific wineries you are interested in, and of course there’s always the local travel agent solution since they can organize the tour and transportation.

Although Prague is world-wide known as the city of a hundred spires, yet it has recently acquired a new title which is the city of a thousand restaurants!

Prague‘s cuisine is gaining an excellent reputation by time globally. But as a tourist visiting Prague for the first time, you should be aware of some restaurants traps!

Generally, the prices and quality are not very hard to balance in Prague if compared to another European city like London for example. You can divide the restaurants in Prague into 6 main categories:

1- Gourmet (For those who value the taste more!)

2- Business (suitable for a business dinner)

3- Trendy (everyday kind of restaurants)

4- Budget (everytime kind of restaurants!)

5- Personal Recommendations (everyone’s favorite)

6- International.(cuisines from around the world!)

In all restaurants in Prague, you’ll have an extra 19% charge as VAT. Some restaurants don’t charge for service, in such case it would be nice of you to leave around 10% of your bill as tips.

In case you speak German or English, you don’t have to worry about the menus! That’s because most menus are printed in those 2 languages beside Czech, they also include photos to show how the dish will look.

Take care of a hidden trap here. Some menus show a higher price in the foreign language menu than the Czech menu! So be sure to do the comparison. Also the usual overcharging error is common so you have to check for it too.

Another cultural tip, sharing tables with strangers is normal and not considered as a rude thing to do specially in budget. The strange tip I have for you finally is NOT to hold the door open for your lady upon entering a place! This tell you’re not a gentleman because you have to, according to the Czech culture, check for any dangers or troubles before you woman enters!

You can admire the little artisans working their manufactured articles and, if you want, truffles and Sagrantino, a tipical wine of the Umbria Valley, take you in this little and beautiful journey.
